Herman Melville once described writers as “…that whole corps of thought-divers, that have been diving and coming up again with bloodshot eyes since the world began.” If you’re a writer, or any creative person for that matter, you’ll understand what he meant completely. Sometimes creating comes easily, and sometimes it eludes us, and we have to dive into the ocean of our imagination to find our next idea…

Thoughtdivers was created to give aspiring writers a place to share stories, poems, and other writing pieces. The admin will post writing prompts from time-to-time, but authors can post any stories they wish, prompted or not:) Authors are not paid on this site other than with appreciation and gratitude for sharing their imaginations with the world!

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR WRITING

If you would like to have your writing posted on the site, there are two ways to do this:

JOIN US AS AN AUTHOR

To join the site as an Author to post your writing yourself, please send an email to the administrator at thoughtdivers AT 99shadows.net. In the email, use the Subject “Request Membership” and include your desired username and the email address you would like to use for your account. The administrator will add you as a user on the site and will send you your login information and a link to the login page.

EMAIL YOUR WRITING TO THE ADMIN

You can send your writing to the site admin at thoughtdivers AT 99shadows.net. In your email, include the byline you’d like used on your writing as well as your website URL if you’d like it included on the post as well.
